Holy Nukage Batman!

Well the weatherman was wrong again, but this time at least he was wrong in a good way. The winter storm warning this last weekend called for 15-30 inches in the mountains, but the Tobacco Roots got much, much more snow than that. Albro Lake SNOTEL was reporting 60+” and using my 48″ long ski pole estimated lower elevations having between 3-4 ft. Not bad for Oct 12.

I finished the day off with some cold beers, a hot shower, MSP’s Claim Premier and cruising downtown with pro skier Hugo Harrison. Not a bad first day of the ski season.
